I'm approaching the 25% mark of the first draft of my latest Leif Villers novel, and I have finally decided on a working title. Here's the grand reveal:
The Selkie Supremacy
Leif Villers is forced to face a dark prophecy stemming from the clairvoyance of Myreen Fairchild. The vision predicts the mortal danger of his twelve year-old daughter, Camilla, who recently started her first year at the School for the Shifted as a selkie student. But selkie magic is ancient, and when the wrong spell is uttered out of despair, Leif finds himself in a completely different supernatural world.
As a side note, this will likely be my final entry in the Shifter Academy series. The Selkie Supremacy will by my fifteenth contribution to this shared universe, and I'm feeling content with where my characters have landed. That means that this book will be my send off not only for Leif, but for the series. I'm unaware of any of my co-authors seeking to continue telling stories in this series, but never say never.
